Facebook Tip: How to Use The Wall

The Facebook wall is a great place to connect with others, especially if you’re looking to build online visibility through social networking. Many entrepreneurs on Facebook are tempted to leave links to sales pages and slyly self promote when making new friends.

My advice to you in this situation: DON’T.

Watch this quick video and learn how to properly use the wall on Facebook… and remember: Don’t be a wall abuser!

    Nancy,

Excellent advice…I, and the company I'm partnered with, always stress the principle of "give to give". Not give to get! I know people who've put their link in a sympathy card! Wrong.

The top marketers have known (& taught) this for decades. It just seems the natural tendency for business people is to always self-promote themselves, instead of just simply giving.

And giving can take many forms, most of which cost you nothing: giving info, time, listening(an ear), referrals, gratitude and many more.

Nice job Nancy! Have a great week…
