Excellent advice...I, and the company I&#039;m partnered with,  always stress the principle of &quot;give to give&quot;. Not give to get! I know people who&#039;ve put their link in a sympathy card! Wrong.

The top marketers have known (&amp; taught) this for decades. It just seems the natural tendency for business people is to always self-promote themselves, instead of just simply giving.

And giving can take many forms, most of which cost you nothing: giving info, time, listening(an ear), referrals, gratitude and many more.
