Entrepreneurs are famous for getting great ideas. Sometimes those ideas can be total breakthroughs, and other times they create paralyzing clutter. I’ve got 3 steps to share with you so you can activate your tipping point and enjoy success in any economy, despite any personal challenges, and regardless of how much time you have.
These are the same 3 steps I’ll be using June 3-5 when I mentor a room full of heart based entrepreneurs at my live event I Heart My Biz. When you put these into action, you’ll experience amazing results that set you apart from your competition and attract perfect clients.
1. INSIGHT

Insight is an understanding that happens on a profound level. It’s a flash of intuition that makes perfect sense. In business, it determines which way to go with ideas, with change, and with opportunities. Some people call it their guidance speaking to them.
Most people gain insights unpredictably. They’re in the shower and suddenly an idea pops up. Or a crisis takes away all illusions and painful insights are learned. But it is possible to set yourself up for insights by being connected to the core of who you are, and knowing how to activate your intuition.
For example, when I take my clients through the process of discovering their Profitable Essence, the foundational work opens up insights into their strengths, their business, and where they want to go. Knowing what makes you great AND matching that to a money making idea is an insight every business owner wants and needs to know. (Day 1 of I Heart My Biz will be completely dedicated to achieving insights to guide your business to its tipping point.)
2. ACTION
Some people get the insight and stop there. Well, as I’ve told many clients, just because it popped into your head during a shower (or even during meditation) doesn’t mean it’s a fully fleshed out idea. The next step is action.
You need to draw that insight down into the tangible world and apply it. How will you market it? What words will best describe it? Who can you invite to support you?
Day 2 of I Heart My Biz will be all about action because I already know it would be unfair and incomplete to open up all these insights on Day 1 and not give them a plan.
So if you’re feeling called to create a program or launch a big sales campaign, you need the tools to do it. Taking the RIGHT action is key.
3. RESULTS
Once again, don’t think your day is done simply because you had the insight and took some action. People take action all the time and get no results, despite how inspired it felt. Some actions pay off and others don’t. You must have ways of knowing when it’s time to tweak, abandon, or continue with an idea. As boring as it may sound to the spiritual and creative types, this is where the numbers come in. Responsible business owners watch for results. They don’t run and hide in the latest marketing tactic so they can say they were too busy to make money. You’re hearing this straight from a recovering marketing tactic addict, so I do know of what I speak.
Day 3 of I Heart My Biz will be about results. How to achieve them, how to get more, and how to systematize them. You’ll walk out with a plan that will map out how to make money with your insights and your actions!
I’ve outlined 3 powerful steps to achieve your tipping point: Insight, Action, Results. You can see how they’re interdependent and how they can bring your business to a place it hasn’t been before.
Following these 3 steps in my business has brought me phenomenal results. 2009, which was one of the toughest years for most entrepreneurs, turned out to be my biggest year ever… despite a number of challenges in my personal life. I followed the keys of Insight, Action, and Results to guide my business.
The transformation has been so profound I’ve created a 3 day event dedicated to helping other heart based entrepreneurs break the cycle of struggle and frustration and find the heart and love of what makes them money.
It’s called I Heart My Biz and it takes place June 3-5, 2010 in Anaheim, CA. I invite you to learn more about it at www.iHeartMyBiz.com
When your business is successful, you can touch more lives. You won’t have to wonder if you need to pick up a part time job, you won’t have to explain to family and friends that you really do run a business (versus a hobby). You’ll walk with confidence knowing that you’re making an impact with conscience. Putting these 3 keys into action will give you the foundation you need.
