Here’s another response from my question ” What’s your single biggest question about creating a PROFITABLE business doing what you love?”
The last question had to do with Information Products, and this question has to do with social media. More precisely, using social media to attract clients.
Artur asked, “How do you use social media to attract clients?”
Artur, social media is AWESOME for attracting clients… if you have a few things in place.
1. First of all, you must first understand some things about the types of opportunities you want to attract. The joy of social media is that you can connect with prospective clients and also easily connect with people who can send you clients.
I recently wrote a blog post on this “How a Profit Path Can Help Your Online Visibility Payoff” where I outline 3 Profit Paths you can take to use social media to boost your revenues.
2. The next part of the process is to make sure you ENGAGE your following. Gain the trust of your people and you’ll find it much easier than chasing them down with a sales proposition. Talk to them like real people.
3. After you identify your opportunities and engage them, start making personal connections. My tip for 2010 is to go Micro, focusing on your top 20% and putting forth effort to nurture profitable relationships.
Remember, social media is a TOOL. What’s more important is what’s underneath your business, the offers you create, and the relationships with people who want your services. Let a quality focused mindset guide you!
