More reasons to love the Twitterverse:
On my daily Google Alert where I enjoy the fine art of Visibility Surfing (ie, I get a Google Alert everytime my name pops up on the web), I was happy to see a list of Tweets that mentioned me!
Usually I get alerts that point me to blog posts, videos, or articles, but I was happily surprised today to see that some people’s tweets put my name in the search engines. (I don’t know you, but I love you!)
This all came up on Twitscoop, a nice little tool that keeps stats on Twitter AND more importantly seems to do so in a SEO friendly way. I’ll take that and a large drink, please.
Check it out and explore the cool options it has, like tweeting your graph so the world can see how amazingly popular you are. Enter your Twitter ID into the search bar and click to check your bad self out.
Action step: Use Google Alerts to monitor your visibility. Be sure to respond and check out where you appear. In the process, you’ll learn about cool sites like Twitscoop and ways to keep your name out there.
