With that no. of followers, what I'd do is set aside: 1. 30min a day - for conversations with different groups of followers (e.g. the marketers, the mommies, the students, etc). In a nutshell, do take sometime to build some relationship. 2. 15min a day - to tweeting on something of value that I have to offer (e.g. timeless words of wisdom, recent published articles on self-growth & how-tos, etc). 3. 15min a day - doing twitter 'housekeeping' & improving on my Twitter presence, image & branding. After all, there's always something new to be learned & done everyday! Yeah, 2hrs total a day is good. We still need to go out meet real people in person, have a family life and a separate healthy personal space. That's what I'd do. I agree that you would be a "broadcaster". If you leverage it right, it could be a great thing. Especially someone like Ellen and Ryan because they have so many people that admire them. There is lots of potential to get people thinking. If it were me, I would broadcast provocative ideas to get people thinking in a different way and keep bring them back to the idea of "What do YOU want" and "Life is meant to feel good." I would use my broadcasting status to help create a Defy the Box movement. Rock On! It definitely occurred to me that at the level of 250K Tweeps the likelihood is that you are going to be more of a broadcast channel – tweeping to the vast majority rather than with – noticed that Ellen Degeneres got onto Twitter a couple weeks ago – P. Diddy sent her to the party and she accumulated 250K plus followers within 10 days or so – of course she's got huge platform to start with to be sure but I noticed that she's only got a few folks that she follows. It's a very different dynamic then in the main Twitterstream when you get to that level! Better have a compelling (inspiring?) message and be authentic that's for sure! Love your work and all that you do to help peeps reach for those stars – 250K is a SuperNova SiSTar!!
